Idea Plast

Idea Plast is an Italian company based in Lainate (MI), with more than 30 years of experience in the design and engineering of plastic products.

Over the years, striving to adapt to the demands of the market, Idea Plast has introduced the R&D office.

The R&D team supports the customer in all project stages, providing ecological solutions and giving life to new materials suitable to satisfy every need.

We propose projects to companies that need to properly transform their own plastic material, even starting from material that is difficult to use.

Below you can find some of the activities our R&D office can offer:

– We provide consulting in selecting the best material for each application;

– we study the formulation of the polymeric compound for the Customer’s need;

– we produce small samples with our twin-screw extruder and we make test species for mechanical characterizations by injection moulding;

– we develop solutions for the recovery of plastic materials by creating new products or implementing those already existing.

Thanks to our Technical Department, we can follow our customers throughout the design process, from design to prototyping and moulds creation, up to the manufacturing of the finished product, being a single point of contact in all phases of the project.
