We are excited to announce that Proplast laboratories are officially recognized for performing tests in accordance with the Recyclability Assessment Protocol for the Automotive sector and Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), in addition to those we already carry out on packaging.
This recognition specifically covers the assessment of the recyclability of plastic components in PP, filled PP, PE, ABS, PC-ABS, and PS, according to the standards defined by RecyClass.
The first two protocols include:

Recyclability assessment protocol for the validation of resins for automotive and EEE applications, which allows resin manufacturers to test compatibility with standard recycling conditions.

Recyclability assessment protocol for individual components in automotive and EEE applications, which evaluates the recyclability of additives, coatings, adhesives, and more.
RecyClass encourages companies in the automotive and EEE sectors to test their technologies using RecyClass recyclability assessment protocols, thereby contributing to the generation of additional knowledge that will help develop sector-specific recycling design guidelines and anticipate legislative changes.
